Drive Interstate 70 in Colorado. At 87 miles west of Denver take exit 203 (Highway 9) and proceed south on Highway 9 through Frisco, then continue about 10 miles to Breckenridge. Drive south along Main Street until you reach the south side of Breckenridge. Turn left at Boreas Pass Road (last stop light in town). Follow Boreas Pass Road 3.7 miles to the winter trailhead, where the road is gated. Parking is obvious -- allow room for other users.
